Terms of Use — JustBet

This is an English translation provided for convenience. The Danish version is the legally binding text; if the two differ, the Danish version applies.

These terms are the agreement between you and JustBet when you create an account and use the app. By creating an account, you accept the terms. Please read them — we have written them as short and clear as we could.

1. Who we are

JustBet is operated by Lars Henrik Larsen, H.C. Andersensvej 24, 8920 Randers, Denmark. You can always write to us at support@justbet.me.

2. In short

• JustBet is a social game where you predict football matches against your friends and other players.
• You play with coins, which are points with no cash value. They can never be exchanged for money or paid out.
• The app is only for people aged 18 and over.
• It is not gambling: you do not stake real money and cannot win money — only points, rankings and glory.

3. Age

You must be at least 18 years old to use JustBet. When you create an account, you confirm with a tick that you are 18 or older. If you are not, you may not use the app, and we close accounts we discover belong to minors.

4. Your account

• You create an account with a nickname, an e-mail address and a 4-digit code (PIN). You can also play as a guest linked to your device.
• You are responsible for your code and for what happens on your account. Do not share it. If you suspect misuse, write to us.
• Create one account per person. We may close accounts created to cheat (for example several accounts in the same game).
• The information you give must be correct. How we process it is described in our privacy policy.

5. Coins are points — not money

Coins in JustBet are points in our own system with no cash value whatsoever. This is at the core of how JustBet works:

• Coins can not be exchanged for money, paid out, transferred to a bank account or traded for anything outside the app.
• You get coins when you sign up, as daily bonuses, by watching ads, by inviting friends, and you can buy more (see section 6). However they were obtained, they carry no monetary value.
• Coins are used in games and in the profile shop (cosmetic items). Taking part in games is free as a starting point.
• We may adjust, reverse or reset coins if they were awarded by mistake or obtained through misuse, cheating or exploiting a bug. As coins have no value, this does not entitle you to compensation.

6. In-app purchases

• Coins cannot be bought. You earn them by taking part — by creating an account, turning up each day and playing. There is no payment anywhere in the app.
• Purchased coins are a digital consumable that is delivered immediately and used in the game. They cannot be paid out.
• Cancellation and refunds follow the rules of Apple or Google and applicable consumer law. As a rule, a refund must be requested where you made the purchase.
• Prices may change. Changes only apply to future purchases.

7. Subscription

If we offer a subscription and you choose to take it out, it is paid for and renewed through the App Store or Google Play. It renews automatically until you cancel it, and you manage and cancel it in the store’s subscription settings. If you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period.

8. Games, private bets and clubs

• Any user can create a game and invite others. Some games have an organiser who sets the framework (matches, markets, number of participants, etc.). By taking part, you accept the organiser’s terms for that game.
• Results are settled based on match data. Results entered by an administrator take precedence over the automatic feed in case of doubt or errors.
• If a game does not go as planned (for example a match is cancelled), the game may be cancelled and any coin stakes returned.

9. Good conduct

When you use JustBet, you must not:

• cheat, manipulate results or exploit bugs in the app;
• use bots, scripts or automation to play or to create accounts;
• create several accounts to gain an unfair advantage;
• harass, threaten or bother other players, or post illegal, offensive or abusive content (for example a nickname or profile picture);
• try to break into, overload or disrupt the service.

If you break these rules, we may remove content, restrict features, or suspend or close your account.

10. Ads

There are no ads in the app. If we ever introduce them, you will be asked for consent first, and our privacy policy will be updated before that happens.

11. Availability and liability

We work to keep JustBet running and available, but the app is provided “as is”. We cannot guarantee that it will always be error-free or uninterrupted, and we may update, change or close features.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect loss or consequential damage. As coins have no cash value, our liability does not cover the loss of coins, points or rankings. Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have as a consumer under mandatory Danish law.

12. Termination

You can stop using the app at any time and delete your account directly in the app under Settings → Delete my account. Deletion cannot be undone. If you cannot access your account, write to support@justbet.me. What happens to your data is described in the privacy policy. We may close or restrict an account in case of a breach of these terms, or if we are legally required to.

13. Changes to the terms

We may change the terms. If we change something significant, we will notify you in the app before it takes effect. The date at the top shows when the text was last updated. If you keep using the app after a change, you accept the new terms.

14. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Danish law. If you are unhappy, please contact us first at support@justbet.me — we would like to resolve it. As a consumer, you can also complain via the Danish Competition and Consumer Authority’s Centre for Complaint Resolution and the EU’s ODR platform.
